Hello, I am Arthus Goujon. Welcome to my blog and portfolio.

I am a student at HEC Paris and Institut Polytechnique de Paris, interested in applied mathematics, machine learning, economics, and quantitative finance. My academic and professional path has progressively led me toward more research-oriented work, where rigorous mathematical modelling, empirical analysis, and programming can be combined to study real-world problems.

My main interests include quantitative finance, market design, game theory, and machine learning. I am particularly drawn to problems involving strategic interactions, market mechanisms, prediction, optimization, and financial decision-making. In the long run, I aim to pursue research-driven work, either as a quantitative researcher or through a PhD / industrial PhD path in a financial institution or a technology company.

This website gathers projects, research notes, and personal initiatives developed alongside my studies and internships. I use it to document my work, share reproducible code and ideas, and explore questions at the intersection of mathematics, economics, and data.

Feel free to reach out if you have questions, feedback, or if you are working on similar topics.
